Spinoza is a very likeable bear who goes through all the same experiences as the rest of us. He has his ups and downs, his joys and sorrows, his good days and bad ones. Spinoza has a special way of sharing his stories as he journeys through life that makes us, young and old alike, feel quite a bit better about ourselves.
Everything about Spinozahis expression, size, shape, color, and textureis designed for comfort. He is instantly loveable and huggable. But what makes Spinoza unique is his library of audiocassette tapes. They are played on a cassette player tucked inside his tummy so you can listen while holding Spinoza.
In each of these audio tapes Spinoza and his Woodland Friends tell us stories and sing songs which are calming, joyful, fun, and full of positive messages that motivate, reinforce self esteem, and help us get through little and not so little hurts, trials and tribulations.
Make Spinoza a part of your family. He is the perfect gift for any occasion. It's never too late, or too soon, because Spinoza appeals to kids of any age. The following activities are full of ideas about how to use Spinoza and his tapes in lots of fun and useful ways.

Spinoza Makes a Difference |

Erica is 5 years old and is autistic. She does not talk. She has had speech therapy for 3 years at home for 4 days a week and now attends school in Ft. Smith, AR.
During the past years there have been times that she would cry for no reason known to us or the doctors. Sometimes this would last for 4 or 5 days, other times for a half a day. I have rocked her, walked her, anything to try to calm her down. Sometimes it would help, often it would not.
As soon as I heard Spinozas voice and music I knew I had to buy it for Erica. She has a lot of toys and dolls, but spends only a minute or so with them. The day I gave her Spinoza she loved him. We laid beside him and listened to the entire tape and then she gave it to me to start again. But the important thing is that when she gets frustrated and upset, hitting herself, biting herself, I turn on Spinoza and she calms down instantly. I cant tell you how much this means to me. Spinoza has helped where doctors have failed.
Erica goes to bed with him every night. She carries him around the house and when the tape stops she brings him to me to start again. Her eyes light up, she smiles and listens to every word and sound of music.
Thank you,
Shirley Hays & Erica

My daughter was recently diagnosed with diabetes and received the bear (Spinoza) through Juvenile Diabetes Foundation Canada, and the Kinsmen.
She loves her bear and has had many happy times with him since. Your bear is amazing! He relaxes her, plays with her and makes her feel special.
Thank you so much!

My sister passed away in Nov. 1995. She had Leukemia. As her sister, I asked if I could inherit her Spinoza Bear. It meant a lot to her. Not too long ago we moved to a new house. Unpacking we realized we were missing a box. Unfortunately, the nine tapes, Spinozas bow, etc. was in the box along with some other sentimental items. How do we go about replacing the tapes? Do we just order new ones? I hope you can help. Thanks!
Keep up the good work. You are changing the lives of all family members with these wonderful products! We wouldnt trade Spinoza for anything! He is a family member now!

I got my Spinoza Bear in 1986. When I bought him I was 18 years old. I brought him to all the kids houses I babysat for. It was a great babysitting tool. I now have a daughter myself and will be ordering one for her. She loves music. Spinoza has brought lots of love to me and now I hope my daughter enjoys him like I do.
Sincerely,
Kelly

I want to let you know how much my son Aaron loves his Spinoza. My son Aaron is 12 years old and is retarded. Aaron is quite destructive and will break almost everything that he owns. He so loves his Spinoza that he has not broken it and asks me to change the tapes so he wont break it.
He listens to his bear in the morning when he is dressing and loves to sing along with the music. At night he performs for us with Spinoza. He is also enjoying all the new tapes from Spinoza.
I would recommend Spinoza to any child who is normal or handicapped children. There are so few toys that Aaron can love and that really give to him. Spinoza is one of very few that he can really play with and benefit from. I want to thank you for producing such a wonderful toy.
I hope many more children like Aaron get to experience Spinoza and have him in their lives.
Sincerely,
Donna Taylor

I Like Being Me! is a colorful, fun and action filled video that invites children to participate with Spinoza...the Bear Who Speaks from the Heart. Children discover how their differences from others make them special, how they shine by themselves like a beautiful color, and how they together with all their friends, make the world colorful, interesting, and complete, like rainbow.
Through Spinozas songs, filled with positive messages and encouragement, childrens self-esteem is fostered. Children Love Spinoza the cuddly bear and look at him as an endearing friend. Parents love Spinoza because his messages are the ones that they would like their children to hear and reinforce themselves.
